All Things Green

Many of us here at JPA have grandchildren, and we'd like them to inherit a clean Earth. We take our commitment to the environment very seriously.

Paper

All of our paper comes from sustainable forests, which means that for every tree that is cut, another tree is planted. Trees are harvested from these forests like corn or wheat, and new trees are planted after every harvest.

Ink

Our ink comes from renewable sources. This means you can use the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers logo on your magazine.

Recycling

We recycle absolutely everything we can, from our used printing plates to every scrap of paper waste. Even the run-off from our plates is biodegradable and won't harm the environment.

Energy Use

We cut down the amount of natural gas we use by 80 percent by completely overhauling our entire facility. Our new heating and cooling system is more efficient, and our upgraded walls and windows help conserve energy.
