At JPA, our Finishing Department is equipped with a variety of cutters,
folders, and binders along with skilled craftsmen to meet your finishing
needs.
Saddle stitching, perfect binding, tipping, polywrapping and mailing are
among the wide range of capabilities offered by the JPA finishing department.
Cutting precision is achieved with our Pivano programmable and Lawson paper cutters both capable of handling up to 42 inches in width.
Our team
of folders is comprised of a new MBO model B32s/44 (32”x44”)
which is supported by an MBO model B26s/44 folding machine. Together they
give us the versatility to fold 4, 6, 8, 12, and 16 page forms in a variety
of configurations. They also allow us to fold 32 page digest size forms.
When it comes to binding we meet our customers' needs with our Sheridan 16-pocket and Muller Martini 10 pocket saddle stitching equipment both capable of trims ranging from digest to tabloid sizes.
When a publication
requires perfect binding we accommodate with a new Muller Martini 12-pocket
perfect binder able to bind a product with as few as 64 pages or one up
to 1” in thickness.
Our mailing is performed on a Kirk Rudy / Shanklin polywrap mailing line. This allows up to 3 “ride along” or “inserted” pieces to be securely sealed with the host publication and with the label inside the polywrap for protection.

In addition a Nygren-Dahly three spindle paper
drill and Machtronic insert tipper allow us to perform a multitude of
drilling and peel-able adhesive tipping requirements to meet our customers
needs.
When there is a need for shipping we have access to UPS and various other
transportation modes. Including local carriers and truck shipping for
large loads.We do our best to fulfill all of our customers needs.
